Our History
1994
Killam & Englund Insurance Agency opened in Shelbyville, Illinois. Over time, due to great customer service and the Killam and Englund families’ commitment to the Shelby County community, the agency steadily grew and added more quality carriers and products.
2017
Killam & Englund Insurance Agency was acquired by First Federal Savings & Loan Association of Central Illinois and became 1st Fed Insurance Services, LLC, a subsidiary of First Federal. Together, 1st Fed Insurance Services and First Federal can offer their customers expanded products and services to meet more of their financial needs.
